The Brief

The University of Birmingham has created one of the most successful fundraising campaigns in existence, helping to transform the face of the campus and fund research with global impact and giving students life-changing opportunities.

With a target of £160 Million the team had an ambitious challenge to meet. We were tasked with the creation of an online campaign to raise awareness of the fund-raising activities and celebrate the amazing achievements of everyone involved.


The response

With a final date for the campaign to close working with the team at UoB we created a 100 day campaign for the final push.

Each day marked the achievements of the inspirational donors and linked their stories to a calendar of events. The stories were then published each day across social media channels to generate momentum using the #100days.

The campaign reached a global audience accelerated by Alumni who shared content socially.

The overall campaign exceeded its target to hit £193 Million and ensure that the fundraising objectives are achieved.
